For her internship at the end of her university degree, Sophie had the opportunity to spend six months in the US. She had a great time, and was able to experience Halloween the way it’s supposed to be, just like she’d seen in the movies. It’s traditional in America for the streets to transform into rows of haunted houses, each more elaborately decorated than the next, and for residents to dress up as all kinds of different characters. This year, to mark the occasion of Shauna’s arrival in Luxembourg, Sophie is planning to invite her to a US-style Halloween.

During the recent Easter holidays, Sophie and Marc chose to travel by train and electric car, taking advantage of the Avis benefit on their Visa Premier card for car rental. Sophie, Marc and their daughter Lily explored Denmark and Sweden for almost two weeks.

Like every year at this time, the race for Christmas presents is on. In exactly three weeks, dozens of gifts will be piled up at the foot of Sophie and Marc's Christmas tree that will delight their little Lily, but Sophie has been fed up with this unnecessary waste for years.

New job opportunities can equal new challenges, moving abroad being only one of them. Sophie and Marc met Shauna while visiting the USA and they have stayed in contact ever since. Now that Shauna has been offered a job in Luxembourg, she is happy to call upon Sophie’s and Marc’s help.

Over time, Marc has amassed a small amount of money in his savings account.
