Wero evolves Payconiq from a national payment solution into a broader European payment solution with exciting new features, including the ability to pay in other countries.

How do you start using Wero?

Once your bank offers Wero, it's time to download the Wero app from the App Store or Google Play Store. To set up your wallet, just open the Wero app and follow the instructions to connect your bank account. During the process you will be redirected to your bank’s app or website to verify your identity with LUXTRUST, Luxembourg’s secure digital identify solution. You will need to connect your bank account to a unique phone number or email address.

Transfer money

Send or request money from your friends and family using just a phone number or e-mail address. Forget cash — your smartphone is all you need!

Pay your bills

Pay your bills by scanning the QR code displayed on them. No need to manually enter details such as the amount, beneficiary, or IBAN. One scan and you’re done!

Pay in stores

Scan the QR code on the payment terminal with your smartphone and your bill is paid. No need to even take out your payment card!

Standalone app outside S-Net Mobile

The new standalone Wero app is available for download on the Google Play Store and the App Store.

Link your Spuerkeess account to the Wero app and add a mobile phone number or an e-mail address.

Available across borders

Wero is already available in France, Belgium, and Germany to make your cross-border payments. In 2026, Luxembourg and the Netherlands are joining the Wero family.
