I am a Non-EU resident and I have not registered in Luxembourg, yet. Can I open my account without a certificate of residence?

Yes, you can open your account at Spuerkeess prior to arrival, without presenting a certificate of residence. Please note, however, that all expats must provide proof of residence when completing the final paperwork at the branch. For Non-EU residents, this proof of residence is called a “récépissé”. You can obtain the récépissé at your local commune once you have arrived in Luxembourg.
