We are proud to announce that our colleague Inès Kharroubi has obtained her GRI certification. The GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) provides the most widely used reporting standards in the world. As such, Inès is formally qualified to assist our ESG teams in complying with the GRI G4 guidelines, ensuring accurate and transparent sustainable development reports.
The partnership represents a deep dive into innovative financial technology (FinTech) in a way that no other bank in Luxembourg has committed to at this time.

Spuerkeess joins the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF)

The PCAF enables us to align with a standard for reporting greenhouse gas emissions associated with loans or investments. Thus, Spuerkeess is committed to publishing greenhouse gas emissions of its credit portfolio by the end of 2023 at the latest.
Spuerkeess joins "Net-Zero Banking Alliance"

Spuerkeess is the first Luxembourg bank to join the Net-Zero Banking Alliance (NZBA) of the United Nations Environment Program Finance Initiative ( UNEP-FI). The common goal of the banking alliance is to to align loan and investment portfolios to reach net zero emissions by 2050 or earlier.
