'Scamming' refers to fraudulent actions where so-called 'experts' of international computer firms contact potential victims by phone. They claim warning the contacted person that his computer would be infected by a virus, malware, etc.

In extended conversations, the so-called experts try to convince their victim to log on to an internet site where the victim would receive instructions to clean his computer of the virus, respectively the malware.

But in reality, if the victim connects to these sites, the so-called 'experts' will get access to the victim's computer and then will be able to access personal data such as bank accounts or credit card information.
