Leasing vs buying a car: no more misconceptions!

Admittedly, fully electric vehicles are expensive! However, to promote the use of vehicles that produce less CO₂, the financial support package was recently reinforced. Here is a summary of the subsidies available for the various eligible vehicles:
for a new fully electric or hydrogen fuel cell van: 8.000€
for a hydrogen fuel cell car: €8,000
for a 100% electric car
with an electric energy consumption <18kWh/100km: €8,000
with an electric energy consumption <20kWh/100km (provided that the max. net power of the propulsion system is <150kW): €8,000
with an electrical energy consumption >18kWh/100km: € 3,000
with 7 or more seats provided that the applicant is part of a household of at least 5 people: € 8,000
for a fully electric motorbike, light motorcycle (125 cc), quadricycle or moped (including scooters and pedelecs with assistance up to 45km/h): up to 1.000€
for a new conventional bicycle/pedelec with assistance up to 25 km/h: up to 600€
Private individuals and companies are eligible for these subsidies, whether they buy or lease the car.

No need to give yourself a headache working out the calculations: the subsidy is already included in your monthly instalments.
To receive the subsidies, you must own a vehicle that meets the criteria above for a period of at least 12 months. The vehicle must have been ordered between April 1, 2022 and March 31, 2024 , must never have previously been registered and the first entry into service must be before the end of 2024.
